Tell us about yourself?

I have been passionate about the real estate industry for 29 years, and with a background in sales and service, my strength has always been connecting with people and recognizing solutions that others may not. I am a visionary and entrepreneur and knew that starting a mortgage business would be a path for me to use these skills.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

This is a great question and if I was to be completely honest in this answer it would be to listen more. People will always want a solution to what they are going thru however also want to be able to talk, express, and process the situation and be heard with what they are going thru.

What problem does your business solve?

Most people need a mortgage at some point in their life, so although our service is really a necessity for most, we pride ourselves in eliminating the stress for our clients when dealing directly with a lender. We answer lender questions and concerns on the client behalf, we know what questions to ask and the most seamless way to secure mortgage financing.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

As I mentioned before, I am a visionary who can identify challenges and provide solutions in a unique way that others cannot. When I first started this business, I was not afraid to face difficult files that seemed to have no hope and make endless phone calls to resources to get the answer. I recognized that people were hearing ‘No’ from their banks and brokers and I knew with hard work and dedication, I could be the one to provide a ‘Yes’.

What is your magic sauce?

We have systems and habits in place that ensure our clients’ every question is answered and they never wonder about the next step. We operate in high volume and efficient workflow, with a 7-million-dollar relationship with our lenders. We have negotiating power and are always learning within this industry, with a dedicated and driven team.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

In the next five years, our goal is to elevate our company to the next level of volume and achievement. This past year, we did 84 million dollars in business, and by 2027 our goal is to increase that volume to ~126,000,000.00 . With a young and growing team behind me, my goal is to create new relationships and build the business on a scalable level, with my team handling files and enquiries at the service level.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Being in the real estate industry, the market and economy fluctuates to create ebbs and flows in business. Volume can vary significantly at times, which some brokers find hard to withstand. Because I am entrepreneur, and can recognize need, I have created other companies within this industry and created a team of people that can carry out my vision to keep business steady. When there is an issue within the business, I see it as an opportunity for growth

We are calling on clients that want the mortgage process to be seamless and efficient, while being spoken to in simple language they can understand.
