Elan Healthcare was founded in 2016 by a medical doctor and a research scientist dedicated to the research and development of novel natural health products.

Tell us about yourself?

I began a career in healthcare as a Medical Doctor in 1998 and moved to the pharmaceutical industry in 2004. After years of working in the pharmaceutical industry and exploring the intricacies of product development, I had a desire to build my own line of science-based products. Immigrating to Canada in 2014 gave me that opportunity.

I started working in a small Canadian start-up and decided to continue my studies in business to gain more knowledge of the Canadian business landscape.

After collecting years’ worth of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and business sectors, I agreed to get together with a team of passionate and enthusiastic scientists and researchers to embark on a journey and reach a destination that came to be what is now called Elan Healthcare.

Elan Healthcare was the realization of my desire to leverage reproductive health awareness and to introduce low-risk and cost-effective solutions to common sub-fertility issues. After gaining recognition in the fertility supplement sector, we are now exploring other health concerns and expanding our product lines.

These days I volunteer my time with several Canadian non-profit organizations to give back to the community that accepted me with open arms. I am a mentor and business advisor with “Rise Asset Development”, “My Women Support”, “Access Employment Centre” and “Skills for Change”.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Be patient and live in the moment. Planning for the future is good but you shouldn’t let the beautiful moments pass without notice.

What problem does your business solve?

Our carefully crafted products successfully address the issues of sub-fertility, PCOS, menopause and andropause with natural health supplements.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Elan Healthcare was born from the desire to elevate reproductive health awareness and
introduce innovative natural solutions to common conditions. We are dedicated to the research and development of novel natural health products.

Elan Healthcare’s mandate is to produce natural health supplements manufactured to the highest standards. The superior processes and high-quality ingredients have led to the creation of supplements which support infertility due to toxicity and stress.

We launched a global search for high performing plant extracts and natural ingredients and overcame many barriers to acquire the perfect ingredients for our products.

What is your magic sauce?

In addition to unique and innovative formulas and manufacturing processes, we have been able to differentiate our product using a unique packaging format such as single dose sachet and plant based soft gel technology compared to our competitors.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Our vision is to grow our reach across the globe and become a recognized name in natural health supplements.

We currently have 15 registered NPNs (natural product numbers)and plan to add more product lines including a unique beauty and skincare line.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

We had to pivot to e-commerce completely due to the pandemic. We didn’t even have an e-commerce website and knew close to zero about e-commerce and Amazon. We worked hard, consulted with many people and after six months, our products became “Amazon Choice” in the category of “PCOS supplement for women” and “fertility supplements for men”.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
