Cyberworks Robotics delivers industrial strength autonomous self-driving technology for commercial equipment that is normally manually steered. These include autonomous people movers for airports, floor cleaners for mall and hotels, and tow-tractors for industrial greenhouses and orchards.
Tell us about yourself?
I have a background in autonomous self-driving technology and published some of the earliest pioneering academic research papers on the topic.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Develop more partnerships with equipment manufacturers
What problem does your business solve?
Our technology reduces labor costs, labor shortages and increases safety
What is the inspiration behind your business?
We were inspired by the need to mitigate labor shortages due to Covid and supply chain disruptions.
What is your magic sauce?
An industrial quality autonomous navigation software stack that can be adapted to any vehicle in weeks rather than years.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
To become the central nervous system for autonomous self-driving products ranging from wheelchairs to tractors
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Our biggest challenge has been the disruptions caused by Covid to the operations of our large clients like airports and hospitals.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
