Our vision is to save individuals and businesses time doing laundry and dry cleaning by redesigning the age-old and necessary chore to be fast, convenient, and pleasurable.

Tell us about yourself?

I am the Marketing Lead for laundrywell.com. I got into this line of work because of my interest and experience in business and marketing. I love learning and being a part of a startup gives you plenty of opportunity to learn and try new things.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Start from wherever you are and with whatever you have, with every action comes more clarity on a better way to improve.

What problem does your business solve?

We help people and businesses better utilize the most important asset they have – TIME. We do this by providing a platform to complete their laundry and dry-cleaning needs faster and more conveniently from any device. Our simplified and optimized process allows users to schedule a pickup online, get it picked up, and have it delivered back fresh and clean to their door.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

As you get older, life gets busier. You usually get more responsibilities, chores, and stress. When you want more time, you can get food delivered, groceries delivered, and more but why not the never-ending chore called laundry and dry cleaning?

With LaundryWell, households and businesses now have a simple option to have their laundry and dry cleaning done in a time efficient way, allowing them to focus on what matters most, not the repetitive laundry chore.

What is your magic sauce?

Our magic sauce is the system (including logistics and technology) and processes we have optimized to enhance the online user experience. Users can manage the process from any device and keep track of their orders, which is guaranteed to be completed in a fast turnaround time.

They are also able to provide their preferences (including cleaning instructions, frequency of service), thus handing users full control of the cycle.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

To expand across Canada with a 5% market capture rate, and to continuously improve the process to deliver a better user experience.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Developing great software for our service was our biggest challenge so far. We underestimated the time it would take but we are happy with the result.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

If you dislike doing laundry or need more time back for yourself or your business, visit www.laundrywell.com and try out the simplified service. We are looking for more cleaning partners, businesses to help, and qualified drivers to make the laundry experience better for the people who need it most.
