My background is in finance. I saw a need for coverage on smaller cap companies that were underfollowed. I have a passion for research.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Invest more aggressively in data and subscriber acquisition.

What problem does your business solve?

Institutional quality research is hard to access for the average investor.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

As an investor myself, I know the type of information I needed and was hard to get. I want to solve this issue for the average investor.

What is your magic sauce?

We have a deep passion for research and our new platform will incorporate our proprietary algorithm which will provide a fair value estimate for every Canadian and US listed company.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

The vision is to aggressively expand our coverage base to include more large caps and ensure that every investor has access to this information.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Getting people to be comfortable with the issuer paid aspect of our business model which we use for small cap companies.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We want investors of all sizes to be able to access our research.
