Tell us about yourself?

I am the COO and creative mind of Sipot. I develop short-term and long-range strategic business goals to be executed by Senior Management. Through follow-up calls to address questions on how to use the products, I optimize the overall customer experiences through the implementation of follow up educational calls to field questions on product use. Beside of customers, I work with potential partners to deliver innovative products/solutions to the market. Additionally, i rewrite our three-year strategic objectives, which included revisions to our Mission, Vision, and KPIs, to make sure they were aligned with our goals.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

I am a true innovator with a boundless imagination and resourceful research skills. I constantly seek out creative solutions to problems and challenges, and inspire the rest of our team to do the same.

What problem does your business solve?

. Engaging customers has always been a challenge for businesses, and it has become even more significant with new technologies and the rise of the digital age. SiPot is leading the way by offering gamification, an exciting solution that 85% of US retailers plan to use within the next five years, creating interactive experiences for their customers.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

10 years ago my co-founder and I were classmates at university, located near a famous museum in Isfahan. We ran a touristic business there and quickly realized that the museum wasn’t engaging visitors or sharing its story effectively. That’s when we started developing an AR multimedia app for museums, which later became SiPot, an engagement solution for physical and digital businesses.

What is your magic sauce?

We offer unique and engaging game solutions that go beyond the typical spin the wheel and lucky games. Our focus on user-generated content (UGC) allows businesses to not only increase customer engagement but also generate valuable insights into their preferences and behaviors. We target high-demand industries like fashion and creative industries with the collage competition game.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Sipot will be the top loyslty program platform and engagement solution for businesses, both physical and digital.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

As we started the Sipot journey in 2019, we were actually pretty new to the advertising industry with the idea of a geotargeting CMS for museums and touristic landmarks. While going through the Covid-19 and restrictions for tourism activities, it was hard for working in location-based projects and we decided to pivot from being an Geotargeting app maker to a virtual solution for engaging visitors in duration of lockdown. Once we had our VR CMS, we redesigned it for museums and galleries and put our resources into getting our first Canadian customers. Most Canadian galleries during that time were not interested in taking on new projects, and our market research showed European museums/galleries could be better choices.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We envision businesses of all sizes, from startups to established brands, getting involved and buying into our vision of enhancing customer engagement and boosting conversions through different customer engagement sollutions. We want to collaborate with e-commerce platforms, agencies, and individual merchants who are passionate about providing unique and innovative solutions to their customers.
We believe that our app extensions can revolutionize the way e-commerce businesses engage with their customers and drive sales. By integrating our products with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, we aim to offer a seamless and user-friendly experience for merchants to implement interactive and engaging customer relationship on their websites.
