Tell us about yourself?

I come from a fine arts background and have always had a passion for technology. Stepping into graphic design seemed like the natural marriage of these two interests.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Keep going, stay focused, the hard work now will pay off later.

What problem does your business solve?

Parachute Design solves a variety of digital marketing issues for businesses ranging from poor user engagement, low conversion rates and sluggish search engine performance on their website to brand identity design.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

We always look at a project from top to bottom and take pride in finessing the little details that make big impact – not many agencies do this in our experience.

What is your magic sauce?

We have a vast amount of SEO knowledge that is woven into our creative design and development processes that allow us to create custom websites that not only draw organic traffic, but convert those visitors into paying customers as well.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

It’s been a whirlwind through the pandemic – our business, which was already very strong, quadrupled in a matter of months. For now, we’d like to slow down a bit and spend more time staying on top of technical and creative changes coming down the pipe.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Finding talent – it’s an exhausting hunt to begin with, but the work from home revolution has made it increasingly more difficult to find the best of the best in the design industry.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We encourage our clients to work with us throughout the strategy and creative processes and to take ownership of the project. The more involved they are, the more they understand the process, the reason for certain decisions and are better prepared to continue marketing their business after we hand over the keys to the new website.
