Tell us about yourself?

Business degree, MSc Information Systems, career in I.T. became involved and took over the business. The system was the brain child of a restaurant manager and created to help him manage.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Try harder to pivot from restaurants instead of staying vertical which was the original strategy.

What problem does your business solve?

Primary pain in the market is scheduling large amounts of shift-workers, secondary are other tools for communications including delegation back to staff their availabilities management, shift swap, drop, add and other functions to free up Managers to Manage.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Per the above, Schedule101 is a Manager tool to help become more efficient & effective boost management and employee morale, driving not only productivity but revenues and profitability.

What is your magic sauce?

Schedule101 is an intuitive, easy to use yet powerful toolset that provides more than just scheduling.

Like the other new gen tools of this sort schedules are dynamic, in that employees via the web or our app, can swap, drop and add shifts amongst each others all subject to Manager approval and text notified but it’s more than just that.

It’s a centralised portal for communications to ensure everyone is on the same page and things that need to get done are done right, by those who should be doing them and on time.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

sell more, integrate with POS and other payroll systems beside ADP and other applications to drive more revenues and not only in the hospitality space but other verticals that fit our architecture.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Sales to restaurants, compounded by the effects of the pandemic, pivoting to new markets.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
