For over 20 years, Luke has been one of the leading architects in the business intelligence industry. Luke provides technical leadership at Stytch, heading up Engineering, QA and Operations. He remains hands-on with architecture and project planning and even writes code on occasion! Luke began his career at UK-based Holistic Systems, pioneering multidimensional modelling and reporting. Following the company’s acquisition by Seagate Software, Luke relocated to Vancouver and continued to lead the technology roadmap as the company became Crystal Decisions, then Business Objects and eventually SAP/Business Objects. When not leading his team of developers, Luke can be found reading about the latest scientific discoveries, skiing, hiking, or debating current affairs over a pint.

A 17 year veteran in the internet service provider arena, Jag Bains has extensive network design experience as well as implementing a number of security platforms. In his previous position as the Director of Network Engineering and Operations for PEER1 Hosting Jag was able to observe a large number of DDoS attacks against their customer base, and came to appreciate the singular focus needed to combat the evolving nature of these attacks. Jag holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science from the University of Victoria, in British Columbia.

Greg Bell

Greg Bell is the Chief Technology Officer of Medeo, a Vancouver based Tele-health company. He is a passionate technologist with over a decade of experience bringing innovative enterprise software products to market for the healthcare, pharmaceutical and financial industries. For the past 3 years he has concentrated on building teams and software that deliver innovation to the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Previous to joining Medeo, Greg was the founder and CEO of Reverb Software, a successful software consulting company that built custom web-based enterprise software for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. He led the organization’s software development process in planning, designing and building custom software that enabled companies to become more productive and profitable. Three notable projects during this time were: a multi-tenant clinical trial management and randomization application for some of the world’s top pharmaceutical companies, a distributed temperature monitoring system for hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, and an enterprise dashboard and data warehousing solution for international shipping organizations. Before starting Reverb, Greg was a senior software engineer leading the development efforts at VersaPay – a disruptive real-time bill presentment and payment platform in Canada. Throughout Greg’s career he has had the pleasure of working with many small startups as well as some of the biggest brands in the world including Novartis, AT&T, Blackberry, Samsung and Jenny Craig. As a contributor to open source software, Greg founded two well-recognized Ruby projects that have been downloaded over a million times. Greg has also served as the Director of Operations for TEDxVancouver helping grow the event from 400 to 2200 attendees over the course of 2 years. Greg is the graduate of Capilano University’s school of Interactive Design as well as the Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
