Tell us about yourself?
After studying business and graduating with a Master’s Degree in Economics & Business Administration I always wanted to open up my own company.
And I did… Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, I worked in the corporate, non-profit and private business sectors.
I have been running my online company for over 7 years now. I enjoy discovering new places, traveling and being outdoors with my family. These all blend well into the business nature of my company Epic Experiences.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Have no regrets and never look back. Stay present and enjoy the ride.
What problem does your business solve?
At Epic Experiences we know the importance of collecting memories not things. With this in mind, we develop an online space where people can always find exciting experiences for themselves or gift ideas for their loved ones and treat them to a unique adventure.

What is the inspiration behind your business?
Epic Experiences started from a desire to fulfill my personal need to give experience gifts to my husband rather than material things.
I wanted to give him gifts for either our anniversary or birthday that will be remembered for years to come but I didn’t want to have a hassle trying to find something unique.
Seeing this concept of buying the experience gifts online in Europe I wanted to bring this service to the Canadian market. Epic Experiences has been launched in 2016.
What is your magic sauce?
As we know life is all about precious moments. And at the end of the day, it‘s not just measured by the number of breaths we take but the moments that take our breath away.
Our goal is to bring those precious moments, positive emotions and great memories to as many people as possible in Canada and beyond through Epic Experiences.
We offer convenience and simplicity in gift-giving. Our focus is to provide the best customer experience from the moment the person lands on our website till they go and try the experience they bought.
We are providing the customer’s support when is needed from start to finish while bringing the most fun and unique experiences together on our online platform for people to discover.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We are planning on growing our reach by entering new markets and bringing more new experiences to people’s lives.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
It always comes to finding a balance when trying to manage daily business operations while working on a business.
With a focus on growth, you want to find a way how to be better than you were yesterday. However, I look at any challenges that come our way as an opportunity for improvement and learning from them.
