Angela Lau was appointed Senior Vice President, Finance and Corporate Secretary of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) in July 2016. She is based at our office in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ms. Lau also served in various leadership positions in the taxation and treasury functions of MDA. Previous to joining MDA in September 2006, Ms. Lau worked for many years as an income tax advisor at KPMG and was the head of taxation at a Canadian biotechnology company. Ms. Lau also served on the Industry Tax Committee of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. Ms. Lau earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with honors) from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.

Donald Osborne
President of Information Systems of Maxar Technologies
Don Osborne was appointed President of MDA’s Information Systems Group in June 2014. He is based at our office in Richmond, British Columbia. Mr. Osborne also served as President, Satellite Systems, covering the Montreal and UK operations. He was then appointed President, Satellite Systems and Advanced Technologies, adding MDA’s robotics business in Brampton, Ontario to his responsibilities. Previous to joining MDA in May 2009, he held the position of President, Advantech Networks, a provider of Satellite and Wireless Solutions for the Telecommunications and Broadband markets. Mr. Osborne also worked at Spar Aerospace in 1983 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. After joining the management team in 1989, he held positions of increasing responsibility in Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, Sales and Marketing and Business Unit Management. Mr. Osborne holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration, both from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada.

Ed has more than 29 years’ experience in senior management and operational roles in the global mining and minerals processing industry, and is one of Ausenco’s longest-serving executives. Ed is currently responsible for leading the pursuit of strategic opportunities, major projects and key client relationships across the organisation. Prior to this, Ed was accountable for all of Ausenco’s Americas operation, realising approximately 60% of the company’s revenue base through the delivery of consulting, engineering and project services across the resources and energy sectors.
