Jo-Ann is an IT security professional who has worked in information technology as both an employee and a consultant for more than 20 years. She has played many roles ranging from a technology review and implementation to senior leadership on a global security team supporting the business and technology groups. She currently leads the enterprise security practice at Absolute Software. She is responsible for appropriately assessing risks to the protection of the information assets entrusted to the organization in all forms, in order to proactively and reactively provide innovative, cost effective and practical guidance to the leadership team and IT teams to enable the business strategy while reducing the overall information security risk for the enterprise. Jo-Ann has extensive experience and skills in risk management and compliance, network design, analysis, and forensic incident analysis and investigation. She leverages this experience to implement security architecture designs for highly complex systems, ensure sustained resolution of business and technical issues that, impact system availability, or represent serious security/risk exposures while enabling traditional information and physical security practices.
