Tell us about yourself?

I have been in communications my entire career – first in large multi-media companies, and since 2001 in healthcare communications.

I was Senior Vice President for Viacom Cable (now Paramount), VP of Strategy for the Pacific Bell Yellow Pages, and President of ISP Channel, a pioneer in high speed cable modems for the internet.

In 2001, I left corporate life to start my own companies. I have worked on large multi-national education projects such as ADHDinAdults.com.

We have trained 33,000 health professionals in how to screen, diagnose and treat ADHD. We have garnered 700,000+ views on our YouTube channel. I also work with 18 European university medical centers who are studying how nutrition and lifestyle effect mental health. https://newbrainnutrition.com.

Since 2010, I have trained the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in effective communications via monthly webinars.

I am also the webinar director of a large continuing medical education company called emedevents.com, hosting their recorded and live events.

In 2021, I started my weekly hour-long interview show called “GoToHealth” in which I interview health experts from around the world, sharing their expertise, insights, products and services.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Persistence and faith – Covid 2020-2021 produced one of my best years as medical conferences went from live to online. I was in the right place at the right time. Believe in what you are doing and persist.

What problem does your business solve?

I solve a major problem for two audiences. For the public, I bring evidence-based information about a variety of illnesses and how best to treat them.

For health professionals, non-profit organizations, and companies, I provide multi-media promotional and marketing services.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

I am witness to the difficulty in communication between health care providers, companies, and non-profits with their patients, supporters, buyers.

We see a lot of non-compliance with simple logical steps to greater health. My inspiration is in engaging audiences and changing behavior over multiple exposures in multiple media.

What is your magic sauce?

First, I am an excellent teacher and promoter. I am a skilled interviewer and ask questions that bring out the answers to the questions my audience have, intuitively.

Second, I am an early adopter of multi-media. I repurpose content in various media to reach people where they are. Third, I am excellent at SEO- enabling websites to be found and interacted with, to build audience and engagement.

Fourth, I am an expert in adult learning, and know how to bring audiences along a path to their benefit.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Our vision is to become a premier provider of health information to the public which helps build and sustain the business of small health practices, non-profit companies, and health corporations.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

We have stayed the course. We know the information the public wants. We know the medical expertise providers can share.

We have to be consistent and patient in building audience so that we become a recognized network for reliable health information and a profitable promotion for our guest experts from across the health industry.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We are looking to build the business of small health practices, non-profit organizations and health companies through multi-media promotion and marketing.
