At TidySquares we have developed a unique technology that assesses your room needs and intelligently defines available solutions. With this highly advanced software, it provides an innovative platform for showcasing and ordering storage and organization solutions simply and easily.

Tell us about yourself?

I started my first venture in 2003 by coming up with customized solution for residential garages. There was nothing in the market at the time and I thought it would be a great opportunity to come up with a solution and a service for home owners and help them get their garage organized and tidy.

Over the years we were able to expand to other rooms in the house like the mud room, pantry, closets etc. and in 2015 I wanted to really find a way to take all of our knowledge and find a way to scale.

I wanted to give other contractors, handyman, builders, etc. the ability to sell closets and other storage solutions in a very easy way, so we developed technology that enables anyone that wants to sell home storage solution to do so, without prior experience because the software does it all.

We developed Tidysquares. It took us about 2 years to develop the technology and now we have over 100 dealers in the Canadian market together with some major builders and big box stores as well.

We are not just a design software, we are building a full stack of end to end manufacturing to consumer solution.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

to always take your gut feeling into serious considerations.

What problem does your business solve?

The ability to sell home storage solutions in a simple way and the ability to control your business process from end to end having transparency to manufacturing, logistics, sales and customer service in one platform.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

the world of manufacturing, design, selling, installing and accounting is all fragmented at this time. We are bringing a solution stack that brings it all together.

What is your magic sauce?

we have many, our people is one thing. We are so very proud of our team, they are all extremely professional and all drive towards the same goal. Our technology is the best in the market today and that is our magic sauce.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We want to grow our dealer network in all of our segments and become an international provider utilizing multiple factories across North America. We want to be the strongest aggregator of product line and embed it all into our technology.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Covid was an interesting one. Supply chain was a pain and obviously people getting sick etc. However, we pushed and did not let that effect our sales. We are growing month by month for the last 2 years. However, that was our biggest challenge.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We would like to have contractors, builders, handyman, designers and big box stores to reach out to us so we can show them how they can get into selling CUSTOM storage solutions like closets, mudrooms, pantries etc. in a very simple way with great lead times and all custom cut shipped directly to them.
